ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.150 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent Police.

2.The case projected as against the petitioner is that the defacto complainant is an employee under the accused persons. At the time of joining, the defacto complainant had deposited a sum of Rs.2 lakhs and produced all her original certificates on the promise that the entire amount and the original certificates will be returned to her. Since the salary was not paid to the defacto complainant, she decided to relieve from the college. However, her original certificates and the pre deposited amount were refused to be returned. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent police submits that after investigation, further action has been dropped on the complaint lodged by the second respondent.

4. In view of the fact that further action has been dropped on the complaint of the second respondent, nothing remains to be considered further in this matter. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 11.12.2024 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No ta 2/4
