The Petitioner herein seeks for a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to assign poramboke land to the Petitioner under Special Quota for service personnel, who served in Armed Forces by way of considering the Petitioner's representation, dated 10.12.2024. 2.Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the Petitioner, he served as Havildar in Indian Army and hence he is eligible to get assignment of land under service personnel quota. Therefore, the Petitioner submitted a representation on 10.12.2024 before the respondents seeking assignment of anyone of the two lands mentioned in the representation. The said representation has not been considered so 2/6

far. Hence the Petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petiiton for the relief stated supra.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 by taking this Court to the memo issued by the fourth respondent, dated 17.6.2024 submitted that there was no poramboke property available in Uthamapalayam Village, Lalgudi Taluk, for assignment. Now in the representation submitted by the Petitioner, the petitioner had mentioned two piece of land in a village called Peruvalappur, Lalgudi Taluk. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner and his entitlement to the assignment of lands, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 10.12.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits after giving notice to the Petitioner and other interested parties, if any, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
