Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to enroll the petitioner in the eligibility list for the post of B.T.Assistant (Bachelor of Teacher) for the current year Government recruitment process notification of Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET)2017 Paper-II by dispensing with the production of her B.ED Marksheet and provisional Certificate by considering petitioner's representation dated 21.07.2017, within the period stipulated by this Court.

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that she belongs to Muslim Lebbai, which is a Backward Class Community and secured 1st class with A-Grade in B.A English Literature. Subsequently, the
petitioner joined Bachelor of Education in Annai College of Education, Kovilacheri, Kumbakonam, which is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, Chennai-97, in the year 2015. Successfully, she has completed the 1st year B.Ed by securing 772/1100 i.e. First class. Even she has completed the second year during 2016-2017. But, in the mean while, the 2nd respondent issued Notification for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET)- 2017 Paper II in the month of March 2017, giving specific directions to the candidates appearing for the Final Year Examination of B.Ed during the year 2016-2017 and also permitted them to appear for paper II in Teacher Eligibility Test stating that such Candidates should successfully complete the Course in the year 2016-2017 and should produce the B.Ed., Certificate during the Certificate Verification, otherwise, they shall not be considered for current year Government Recruitment Process and they will be issued with TET certificate, after producing B.Ed., Certificate.
4. While so, it is the case of the petitioner that till date, the results have not been declared. Immediately after applying to the above TET, the petitioner approached the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University with a request to publish the B.Ed. Second year Examination results. But she was informed that within two months, the results would be published. However, it is stated that as per the conditions imposed by the respondent, without the B.Ed., Certificate, the respondent will not entertain the petitioner. Therefore, a direction may be issued to the respondent to enroll the petitioner in the Teachers Eligibility Test for the post of BT Assistant for the current year, by dispensing with the production of B.Ed., Marksheet and the provisional Certificate, on the basis of the representation sent by the petitioner on 21.07.2017.
5.Mr.D.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions from the Liaison Officer, would submit that the petitioner has already issued with a call letter for Certificate Verification on 11.07.2017, but for the time being, she will be permitted to take part in the Certificate Verification. But the TET Certificate will be issued with the production of B.Ed.., Certificate.
6.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to permit petitioner to take part in the Certificate Verification and do the needful. No costs.
