O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 30.05.2017.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that her brother Salaiyappan said to have been involved in a criminal case and under the guise of conducting investigation, the Inspector of Police, Kallikudi Police Station, searched the petitioner's house and taken away the jewels from her house. In the above circumstances, the petitioner has made a representation to the Superintendent of Police, Madurai on 30.05.2017. But the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court.
3. Today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions would submit that the petitioner's brother is not an accused in any of the criminal case in Kallikudi Police Station. However, he is an accused in some other theft case in other police station and hence, the concerned police only conducted an enquiry and they are not recovered anything from the petitioner's house as alleged by the petitioner.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner's brother is an accused in a criminal case and during the investigation, the concerned police made a search in the petitioner's house and they are not recovered anything from the petitioner's house. Hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
