ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the water channels running through the petition mentioned boodhan properties have been obstructed. He wants them to be restored. The petitioner has already given a representation in this regard. The first respondent had forwarded the same to the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai and it is now said to be pending on his file. The authority competent is the Tahsildar / fourth respondent.

3. We direct the fourth respondent to conduct field enquiry. He shall issue notices to all the interested persons. If it is confirmed that the water 2/5

channels indicated by the petitioner have been obstructed, it is the duty of the fourth respondent to restore the original position. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
