Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned proceeding in Mu.Mu.A3/Si.Pa.Sa. 59(4334/2024) dated 16.09.2024, of the third respondent herein circulated on 21.04.2025 and quash the same and consequently direct the third respondent to cancel the patta to the land bearing S.Nos.292/7, 292/8 and 292/9 situated at Periya Kollapatti Village, Sathur Taluk, Virudhunagar District, standing inthe name of the 5th respondent and issue the patta to the above said land in the petitioner's name.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order passed by the second respondent dismissing the appeal filed by the petitioner seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of Commissioner of Panchayat in respect of the land situated in S.No.292/2, 292/4 and 292/8, Periya Kollapatti Village, Sathur Taluk, Virudhunagar District. 2/4

2. Heard both sides. With the consent of both parties, the matter is taken up for final disposal in the admission stage itself.

3. Against the order passed by the third respondent in an appeal, the petitioner has got remedy of revision before the third respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer. In view of the availability of alternative remedy, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition.

4. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed with a liberty to challenge the order passed by the second respondent by filing a revision before the concerned authority.
