O R D E R

This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to give adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and his family members based on the petitioner's complaint dated 07.06.2024.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the private respondents/ respondents 4 and 5, due to which the petitioner filed a suit in O.S.No.60 of 2014 before the learned District Munsif, Thuraiyur and the same was disposed of in accordance with the compromise memo filed by the parties. Now, the respondents 4 and 5 is causing disturbances. Therefore, the petitioner sent a representation for police protection dated 07.06.2024 to the respondents 1 to 3, but the same has not been considered. Hence, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the representation of the petitioner is pending with the third respondent, which is under enquiry and they will conduct the enquiry and dispose of the same within 15 days.

4. Since the representation of the petitioner is under consideration by the third respondent, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same within a period 15 days from the date of this order, after affording opportunity to both the parties in accordance with law.

5. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
