ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the Learned Special Court for trial of cases under SC/ST(POA) Act, Theni to consider the bail application of the Petitioner / Accused No.3 in Crime NO.144 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police on the same day of surrender of merits.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the counsel on either side submitted that the petitioner was arrested and remanded into judicial custody. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Therefore, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition.

3.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
