Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner is the son of the second respondent who is the defacto complainant.

The second respondent Thiru.Chelladurai appeared in person through video conferencing facility. He has been identified by the first respondent. Thiru.Chelladurai categorically stated that he does not want to pursue the matter and he wants to withdraw the complaint.

3. Therefore, no purpose will be served by keeping the impugned First Information Report alive. The impugned First Information Report stands quashed. This criminal original petition stands allowed.
