RESPONDENTS Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to direct the 1st to 2ndrespondents herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner life and limb of the petitioner and his family members on the basis of his representation dated 02.08.2021 given by the petitioner.

ORDER: This petition coming on for orders on this day,upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.J.VISHNU,Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.R.M.ANBUNITHI,Additiional Public Prosecutor (Criminal Side)for Respondents 1 and 2, the court made the following order:- Today, the matter is listed under the caption "for reporting compliance".

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.236 of 2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 324, 506(ii) of IPC has been registered against the accused persons. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. Regarding the police protection, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the police protocol has also been undertaken.

4. However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that so far, the police has not visited his residence.

5. Let the patta book be maintained in the residence of the petitioner, so that the visit of the police personnel can be verified. Further, if any trouble arises in future, liberty is available to the petitioner to approach the concerned officials seeking appropriate relief.

6. With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
