ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No.165 of 2024, for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323 & 506(i) IPC, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail. 1/3
2. The defacto complainant is the owner and the petitioner is the tenant. Since the petitioner was default in payment of rent, on 24.04.2024, at about 6.15 p.m., when the defacto complainant asked the petitioner to pay the arrears of rent, a wordy quarrel arose between them, due to which, the petitioner abused the defacto complainant in filthy language and also assaulted him. Hence, the case.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that since the offences are only bailable offences, the respondent Police himself has released the petitioner on bail, on his own bond.
