By consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner joined the service of Khadhi Department as an Extension Officer on 03.07.1957 and after promotion to the post of Superintendent, he was further promoted to the post of Assistant Director. After reaching the age of superannuation, he retired from service on 28.02.1993. His claim is that sanctioning the pensionary benefits to the retired Government servants from 01.06.1998 to 31.12.1995 vide G.O.Ms.No.363 Finance (PGC) Department dated 23.08.2013 should be made applicable to the petitioner also. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation on 06.04.2017. However, till date, the same has not been disposed of. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with this writ petition. 3.Mr.

Raja Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent and sought sufficient time to consider the petitioner's representation by the respondent. 4.Since the petitioner is a Senior Citizen, the respondent is directed to consider his representation, in the light of G.O.Ms.No.363 Finance (PGC) Department, dated 23.08.2013, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
