ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the respondents to conduct tender process for Tank Excavation works in Sivagangai District with transparent manner by following the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act and Rules.

2.Heard Mr.RM.Arun Swaminathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.G.Muthukannan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that for southern regions, viz., Madurai, Ramanathapuram and Sivagangai Districts, the respondents identified 1035 Kanmois for excavation and the proposal is pending with the Government. After getting sanction and also as per the decision of the Government, the respondents will follow the due process of law in floating tender or in allowing the farmers to remove sand from the water bodies. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Recording the abovesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
