Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner's apprehension is that a drainage channel will be constructed through his patta land and the drainage channel will be eventually let out into what is known as "Raja Vaikkal". When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader on instructions

from the first respondent clarified that only a storm water drainage is proposed to be constructed and not a drainage channel. In any event, the construction will not come up on the petitioner's patta land. 3.This writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
