ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents to transfer and entrust the investigation of the case in crime no.135 of 2024 from the 3rd respondent police to some other police station which is coming under the control of respondents No.1 and 2 and to file final report in speedy manner.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the third respondent herein on 12.03.2024, due to a property dispute, the accused persons have attacked the petitioner, abused him with filthy language and threatened him with dire consequences. Therefore, a case in Crime No.135 of 2024 was registered for the offences under sections 147, 294(b), 323, 506(ii) IPC from the 3rd respondent police on 12.03.2024. Since, no progress in the petitioner's complaint, he seeks transfer of the investigation to some 2/4

other police station which is coming under the control of respondents No. 1 and 2 and to file final report in speedy manner.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the case was closed as 'Mistake of Fact' on 23.06.2025. He further submitted that a counter case in Cr.No.136 of 2025 was also filed as against the petitioner herein by the accused persons.

4. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report, by filing a protest petition, if not satisfied by the manner in which final report is filed.
