ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the first Respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.61/2024 on the file of the second Respondent to any other police station under the monitor of the first respondent.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is the defacto complainant who lodged a complaint, following which a FIR in Crime No.61 of 2024 was registered on the file of the second respondent police. But there's no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present petition came to be filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the investigation is completed and the opinion of the Additional Director of Prosecution is awaited. After getting the opinion, final report will be filed before the concerned Court.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), Additional Director of Prosecution is directed to 2/4

give opinion forthwith and on receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to conclude the investigation as expeditiously as possible in the period of four weeks. In the meanwhile, the first respondent is directed to monitor this progress and the second respondent is also director of appraise the progress of the investigation to the first respondent on every Friday.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
