PRAYER: Petition filed under Section 482 Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limp of the petitioner and his family members by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2020.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks police protection based on his representation dated 26.09.2020.

2.The learned Government Advocate states that the matter is being enquired into. The second respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry within a period four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If cognizable offence is made out, the second respondent has to register First Information Report. If no cognizable offence is made out, then the petition/enquiry shall be closed and the result shall be intimated to the petitioner in writing without delay. In any event, the entire exercise shall be concluded within a period four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
