Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for R1. 2.The petitioner seeks police protection for carrying out the renovation works in respect of his house which is said to have been damaged by the private respondents.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that a petition given by the petitioner is being enquired into. 4.The first respondent is directed to conclude the enquiry on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11240 of 2020 from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent is bound to register an FIR, if any cognizable office is made out. If no cognizable offence is made out, then, the first respondent will intimate the petitioner about the outcome of the enquiry, so that, the petitioner can work out his rights in the manner known to law.
