ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH,J.) Alleging that his daughter is missing from 05.05.2023 and that she is under the illegal custody of the third respondent, the petitioner, who is the father of the alleged detenue Sudar Bala, aged 21 years, is before this Court with this petition.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the detenue was physically produced before this Court. On enquiry, she submitted that she had left her parents house on her own accord in order to get married to one Ramesh, S/o.Shanmugam, who is aged 21 years. She further stated that she got married to the said Ramesh on 03.05.2023 at Mariamman Koil in Tirunelveli District.

3. Since the detenue is a major by age, the alleged detention cannot be said to be illegal. Hence, this petition is closed. [M.S.R.,J] [P.T.A.,J] 24.05.2023 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes RR 2/4
