(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to grant permission and protection to conduct dance programme (Aadal Padal) on 30.07.2017 in the eve of Adi Festival to "Arul Migu Sri Mahamariamman Thiru Kovil" situated at Mavadukuruchi Village, Peravurani Taluk, Thanjavur District.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner as well as the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. 4.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court passes the following order:- ● The second respondent is directed to grant permission to the writ petitioner to conduct "Aadal Padal programme" in connection with 'the 'eve of Adi Festival to "Arul Migu Sri Mahamariamman Thiru Kovil" "at Mavadukuruchi Village, Peravurani Taluk, Thanjavur District, subject to the following conditions:
● The event shall be conducted in an organised and peaceful manner without causing any law and order problem. ● There shall not be any obscene or vulgar scenes during the dance performance by any one of the participants or others. ● The programme timings shall be between 06.00 p.m. and 10.00 p.m. on 30.07.2017 ● If there is any violation of the above said conditions, the second respondent or the duly authorised officer is entitled to take necessary action as per law and stop such performance.
5. The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
