Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated on 13.07.2017 to change the revenue records as per the order in R.D.R.No.6/F284/2002, dated 04.03.2002 by the Deputy Tahsildar, Saakkottai.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated on 13.07.2017 to change the revenue records as per the order in R.D.R.No.6/F284/2002, dated 04.03.2002 by the Deputy Tahsildar, Saakkottai.

2.Heard, Mr.T.Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.G.Muthukannan, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3.According to the petitioner, in S.F.Nos.429 429P and 392P land to an extent of 5316 sq.ft belonged to his father Sundararajan and the petitioner became owner as per will dated 04.10.1991. The Deputy Tahsildar transferred patta infavour of the petitioner by an order dated 04.03.2002, but in the revenue record mutation did not take place, hence he sent representation dated 13.07.2017 to change in the revenue records. Since, no action was taken, the present writ petition.

representation dated 13.07.2017 and if fresh representation is given the respondent is ready to consider the same. 5.In the light of the above facts and the submission of the learned Government Advocate, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation enclosing the copy of this order within a period of two weeks, on such compliance the respondent shall consider the same on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks there from.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
