ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family members for their life and limb based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 21.6.2022.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner being a pawn broker and ready to repay the pledged jewels to the customers. Inspite of that customers have given trouble to him. Hence, he gave a representation before the third respondent police and seek police protection.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that based on the complaint given against the petitioner, CSR No.326 of 2022 has been registered and it is under enquiry.

4.Recording the said submissions, the second and third respondents are hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.06.2022 and to take suitable action on merits and in 2/4

accordance with law.

4.With this directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
