Petitioner Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this court to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the first respondent from approving, accepting and taking on file of any Form - VII of Sourashtra Kalvi Kuzhu, Paramakudi (Registration No. 1 of 1971) submitted by the second respondent without giving a personal hearing to the petitioner and conducting an enquiry under Section 34 of the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975.

ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court forbearing the first respondent accepting and taking on file of any Form - VII of Sourashtra Kalvi Kuzhu, Paramakudi (Registration No. 1 of 1971) submitted by the second respondent without giving a personal hearing to the petitioner.

2. The petitioner claims to be the elected Secretary of the said Society and there is a difference of opinion between the petitioner and the second respondent. Therefore, the second respondent, with an intention to defeat rights of the petitioner has submitted Form VII without including the name of the petitioner in the list of office bearers of the said Society.

3. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to give an opportunity of hearing before accepting the Form VII submitted by the second respondent.

4. Mr.S.S.Madhavan, learned Additional Government Pleader, for the first respondent, on instructions submitted that the representation submitted by the petitioner to be considered in accordance with law.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider the objection dated 10.04.2026 submitted by the petitioner before accepting Form VII filed by the second respondent on its own merits and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.

6. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
