ORDER

The writ petition is totally misconceived. The relief sought is for a mandamus to direct the second respondent, AXIS Bank, Trichy, to freeze a particular account of a company called M/s. Maria Publishers Pvt Limited, maintained in the first respondent branch. The petitioner had given a representation. The first respondent as a banker has a contractual relationship with its customers.

2. This Court cannot thrust any direction on the contract and direct a particular account should be frozen or should be operated in a particular manner. If the petitioner has grievance then let him approach the appropriate authorities to seek relief for his grievance. Filing a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, certainly is not the answer. 2/4

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner who appeared through video conference placed a request that he may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition. His colleague Mr.Manoj Kumar, learned counsel, is available in the court made an endorsement on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.In view of the submission and endorsement made, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
