COMMON PRAYER: Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for records relating to the impugned proceedings issued by the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.A2/4242/2015, dated 17.07.2017 and quash the same as illegal.

Ajmal Associates in both Writ Petitions For respondent No.1 : Mr.T.S.Mohamed Mohideen Additional Government Pleader in both Writ Petitions For respondent No.2 : Mr.M.Govindan Special Government Pleader in both Writ Petitions COMMON ORDER ************************ [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] In both Writ Petitions, the order dated 17 July 2017, issued by the second respondent herein has been questioned at the instance of the encroachers.

2.An identical order was passed by the second respondent in respect of another encroacher and the same was challenged in W.P. (MD).No.13540 of 2017. By a detailed order dated 21 July, 2017, we sustained the order of eviction and dismissed the said Writ Petition.

3.The factual matrix pertaining to the present Writ Petitions is similar to the one in W.P.(MD).No.13540 of 2017. Therefore, the present Writ Petitions are also liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, these Writ Petitions are dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also dismissed.
