This Writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to appoint some other competent investigating agency other than the second respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.2103 of 2020 on the file of the second respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police and the learned counsel appearing for the third respondent.
3. By Order, dated 09.10.2020, this Court directed the first respondent/Superintendent of Police, Dindigul District, to file a status report.
4. The first respondent/Superintendent of Police, Dindigul District, has filed the status report before this Court and on perusal of the status report, this Court is satisfied that the investigation is going in the right direction and it is also been stated that the investigation of the case is almost completed and the final report will be filed as early as possible. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to file a final report, within a period of Two Months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is always at liberty to produce the material, if any to the respondent police to help the investigation.
6. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
