O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) This writ petition has been filed for directing the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner's community to conduct the temple function, which is to commence on 31 July 2017. The petitioner has given a representation in this regard on 11 July 2017.

https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 2.When the matter came up for admission, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced a copy of peace committee

proceedings dated 19 July 2017, in which all the communities in Maravar Perungudi village viz., Gounder Community, Chettiyar Community, Thevar community and Naicker community had taken part. Minutes were also drawn. In the peace committee meeting conducted on 19 July 2017 under the auspices of the Tahsildar, Aruppukottai, the community representatives resolved to abide by the decision taken in the peace committee meeting with regard to holding of the temple function for this year and also for the coming years. 3.A number of conditions have been incorporated in the said peace committee minutes. A copy of proceedings dated 19 July 20176 is placed on record. The counsel for the petitioner also perused the minutes.

In these circumstances, direction is given for conducting the said temple function as per the decision taken in the peace committee meeting on 19 July 2017 and subject to the conditions stipulated therein. If the participants violate the conditions set out in the peace committee meeting minutes, it is open to the fourth respondent to stop the function and also take appropriate action.

4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
