Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as Inspectors of Police with effect from the date on which the petitioner's juniors were promoted.

ORDER

By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for admission, the learned Special Government Pleader produced a copy of an endorsement, dated 01.04.2022, through which, the third respondent herein had passed orders by stating that the petitioner's request has been considered and reviewed through the relevant records and that the petitioner's request, dated 03.02.2022, cannot be considered as per norms.

3. A copy of the aforesaid endorsement has also been marked to the petitioner and sent by registered post on 09.04.2022. As such, the present prayer does not deserve consideration. In case, the petitioner intends to challenge the said proceedings, dated 01.04.2022, liberty is hereby granted to her.

4. This Writ Petition stands closed accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
