Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for the "Mandala Poojai" which is meant for taking the "Lord Murugan" through the procession in a flower palanquin on 01.02.2017 at 6 'o' clock in the evening hours and the consequent upon the same the Pious drama "Sri Valli Thirumanam" drama at 10 'o' clock in the night hours on the same day itself at the venue of "Singara Kalaiarangam" at P.Meenakshipuram, Poonchuthi Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District which is scheduled to be held on 01.02.2017.
