Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent i.e., the Revenue Divisional Officer, Periyakulam to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 22.02.2021 regarding restoration of the registry in respect of the land in S. No.3237 of Thenkarai Bit - II Village, Periyakulam Taluk, Theni District in the original position, within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

Heard both sides.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the error took place while subdivisioning the petition mentioned land. They want the original position to be restored. In this regard, the petitioners have given an appeal before the respondent. The respondent is directed to consider the same and pass an appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. 2/4
