ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the first information report in Cr.No.64 of 2025 pending on the file of the first respondent Police.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the first respondent submits that the investigation agency has found some materials for filing final report and they have also filed the final report through E.Filing on 23.02.2025.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that though the first respondent Police claims that final report has been filed, it has not been taken on file, till date. Therefore, he insists to quash the proceedings.

4.This Court has considered the submissions made on either side. 5.This petition has been filed to quash FIR in Cr.No.64 of 2025. Now, final report has been filed. Without ascertaining the materials filed 2/4

along with the final report, this Court is not inclined to quash FIR. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. However,the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Usilampatti is directed to take the final report on file, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As and when the final report is taken on file, the petitioner is permitted to take a certified copy of the charge sheet and file a fresh petition to quash the charge sheet, if so advised. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
