(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 6 to 12, in the feeding channel in S.F.135/2 at D.Edaiapatti Village West, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2021.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, produced a communication of the fourth respondent - Block Development Officer, Kadavur, addressed to the first respondent and submitted that the encroachment as projected by the petitioner has already been removed on 08.10.2020, itself and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.

3. The aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 is not refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
