This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the second respondent to file final report in Crime No. 98 of 2018 on the file of the second respondent police within the stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court in the light of their representation dated 09/04/2021. ORDER

This petition is filed seeking punishment to the respondent for the wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.6343 of 2021 dated 01.06.2021. 2.Today, contemnor/respondent is present in person before this Court from the office of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side). So, his further appearance is dispensed with. 3.By order dated 01.06.2021, this Court directed the respondent herein to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

CONT.P(MD) No.1083 of 2021 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based upon the order passed by this Court, investigation has been completed and final report was filed before the concerned Court, but the same has not been taken on file so far. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side), this petition stands closed as infructuous as no more consideration is required in this petition.
