ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner for a Mandamus to direct the official respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the petitioner's application, dated 12.04.2025 filed under Sections 5 r/w 23 of the Maintenance and Welfare of the Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

2. Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and Mr.K.Sanjay Gandhi, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) takes notice for the third respondent.

3. The petitioner's complaint is that the petitioner's property has been grabbed by her son and the petitioner is left without any shelter and now, she is 2/5

depending on her daughters.

4. Since no adverse orders are proposed to be passed at this stage, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the time of admission by directing the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 12.04.2025 as expeditiously as possible considering the age of the petitioner. While passing the aforesaid order, the second respondent shall also take note of the decision of the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in S.Mala vs. District Arbitrator & District Collector, Nagapatinam District, Nagapatinam and others reported in 2025 (2) CTC 373, [2025 MHC 706].

5. Needless to state, before passing any adverse order, due notice is also to be issued to the petitioner's son, against whom the petitioner filed the complaint.
