ORDER

The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.7 of 2025 on the file of the Central Crime Branch, Madurai. She has been granted anticipatory bail. The petitioner made an allegation that when she went to the 1/5

Police Station for signing the conditional bail on the last date, i.e. on 15.03.2025, a Sub Inspector of Police has made sexual fervor words, for which, she lodged a complaint on 21.04.2025 and also filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to take action on her complaint dated 21.04.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on written instructions, submits that the petitioner's complaint dated 21.04.2025. was forwarded by the Commissioner of Police to the Assistant Commissioner. The Assistant Commissioner of Police conducted an enquiry on the petitioner's complaint and closed the same that the petitioner has lodged this complaint with a motivation for the manner in which the enquiry was conducted by the then Sub Inspector of Police. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has also produced a enquiry report of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Central Crime Branch, dated 29.05.2025.

3. This Court considered the rival submissions made.

4. The petitioner has approached this Court that her complaint dated 21.04.2025 has not been attended by the respondent Police. It appears that the complaint of the petitioner dated 21.04.2025 was duly forwarded by the Commissioner of Police to the Assistant Commissioner of Police. The Assistant Commissioner of Police has also enquired and closed the same as no such occurrence had taken place. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to any issue direction in this writ petition.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout her remedy by filing a private complaint and establish her case, if so advised. No costs. 03.06.2025 ogy NCC : Yes / No.
