2.The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to consider his representations dated 17.06.2013 and 26.09.2016 wherein and whereby he wants corrections of the measurements in the revenue records in respect of the lands situated at Survey Nos.398/8, 9 and 10 at Nagamalaipudukottai vilachery village, Madurai East Taluk, Madurai District.
3.Though such prayer is sought for by the petitioner, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submitted that such correction has to be done only after making measurement of the land, as per the direction issued by the first respondent as early as on 29.11.2013.

4.It is seen that the grievance of the petitioner is that even though such direction was issued by the first respondent to measure the land and consider the request of the petitioner for correcting the revenue records, the second respondent has not taken any steps so far. Therefore, this Court, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, only directs the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 17.06.2013 and 26.09.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the second respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
