Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents to change of the investigation of the case in Crime No.13/2020 U/s.353, IPC and Section 136 of Representation of People Act 1951 pending before the 8th respondent to the 3rd or 4th respondent for investigation to any other competent agency in accordance with law. ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor for the Petitioners and of Mr.G.Mariappan, Advocate for the respondents, this Court made the following order:
These Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed to nominate another police officer to continue the investigation and file Final Report with respect to Crime Nos.12 & 13 of 2020, on the file of the Sattur Police Station and Rajapalayam South Police Station, Virudhunagar District.

2.By common order of this Court dated 06.02.2020, all the matters under investigation in the above said Crime Numbers and in Crime No.8 of 2020, on the file of Watrap Police Station were ordered to be carried out by Mr.Sivaprasad, IPS, the then Additional Superintendant of Police, Virudhunagar Sub-Division. He completed the investigation and filed Final Report in Crime No.13 of 2020, on the file of the Rajapalayam South Police Station, Virudhunagar District on 11.07.2020 itself. Investigation in rest of the Crime Numbers have not been completed so far, due to lock down restrictions imposed by the Government. Also, it is stated that Mr. Sivaprasad, Additional Superintendant of Police has been transferred now.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the said Mr.Sivaprasad, IPS, the then Additional Superintendant of Police, Virudhunagar Sub-Division has been transferred now and the post of Additional Superintendant of Police is not available and only Deputy Superintendant of Police is available. 4.In view of the above, The Deputy Superintendant of Police, Aruppukottai is directed to continue the investigation in Crime Nos.12 of 2020 & 8 of 2020, on the file of the Sattur Police Station and Watrap Police Station respectively. 5.With the above directions, these Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are disposed of.
