[Order of the Court was delivered by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The writ petitioner is a retired court staff. He seeks notional promotion in the post of Chief Administrative Officer with all consequential benefits. The petitioner submitted representations dated 23.03.2016 and 15.12.2016. 2.The Registrar General vide communication bearing R.O.C.No.25535/2016/C.1 dated 26.04.2016 sought for certain particulars from the Principal District Judge, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur. The Principal District Judge, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputhur vide communication bearing D.No.4324 dated 01.07.2016 submitted the requisite particulars to the Registrar General, High Court, Madras. But, there is no follow up action.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he would be satisfied, if a direction is given for disposing of the writ petitioner's representations dated 23.03.2016 and 15.12.2016 as the proposal has already been submitted to the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Therefore, this Court directs the respondent to take follow up action, pursuant to the submission of the proposal bearing D.No.4324 dated 01.07.2016 submitted by the learned Principal District Judge, Virudhunagar District at Srivilliputtur. The respondent is directed to expedite the matter. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
