By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner retired from the respondent Corporation as a Special Grade Driver, on reaching the age of superannuation with effect from 31.12.2013. It is stated that even after the expiry of three years from the date of retirement, the encashment of leave (at credit) salary with interest and interest for the belated payment of gratuity were not paid to him inspite of his repeated representations on 18.02.2015 and 11.07.2017. Therefore, when no action has been taken, a direction may be issued to the respondents, he pleaded.

3. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents, on instructions, sought for four weeks time to consider the petitioner's representation.

4. Recording the said submission, the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 11.07.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
