This Writ Petition is filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 20.03.2017, for issuance of house site Patta to her property to an extent of 1496 sq.feet in New S.No.456/36, (Old S.No.308/1) situated at Marthandampatti Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Tuticorin District.
2. Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.
3. According to the petitioner, she is aged about 75 years and she purchased the property through a registered sale deed dated 30.08.1990 and thereafter, put up a construction and also obtained electricity connection to her house. On 14.02.2011, she applied for house site patta.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that since 2011 she had been made to run from pillar to post for getting patta to her property and hence, she sent a representation on 20.03.2017. Since no favourable order was passed, the present writ petition.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.03.2017, and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
