Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 not to interfere in civil disputes between the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 6 involved in the subject matter of the suit in O.S.No.20 of 2024 on the file of the learned Principal District Munsif Court and O.S.No.108 of 024 on the file of the learned Additional District Munsif Court, Thoothukudi by 1/5
considering the petitioner's representation, dated 25.05.2024 and 06.06.2024.

O R D E R
The petitioner has approached this Court that the respondents police are harassing her and interfering in the civil suit. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 6 and the respondent 4 to 6 are claiming title over the property. The petitioner claims that she is in possession of the property and she has filed a suit for injunction before the Principal District Munsif Court, Thoothukudi in O.S.No.20 of 2024. The respondents 4 to 6 have also filed a suit as against the petitioner for recovery of possession and the same is pending in O.S.No.108 of 2024 before the learned Additional District Munsif Court, Thoothukudi. While so, the respondents 4 to 6 with the help of the 2/5
respondents police attempted to evict the petitioner and therefore, the petitioner has lodged a complaint and has filed this petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) for the respondent police submits that the prayer sought for in this application is not to harass the petitioner. However, the petitioner has only lodged a complaint before them and the same was treated as a Current Paper enquiry in No.P4/18949/1397/GDP/24, on 31.05.2024 and they have also conducted an enquiry and closed the complaint on 08.06.2024. 4.The petitioner has approached this Court that the respondents police are interfering in the civil suit and harassing her. According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), it is only a petition enquiry that too on his complaint and that was also closed.
It appears from the representations made on either side that there are civil suits pending before the competent civil Court and as such, the respondent police are not expected to interfere in a civil dispute. 5.Since it is represented by the respondents police that they have closed the complaint, this petition is closed.
