O R D E R

The petitioner has come to this Court seeking writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to pass final order in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against her in Roc.No.26845/2008/OP3-2, dated 24.11.2009.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.The petitioner, who was appointed as Junior Assistant in Aranthanki Municipality on 21.02.1991.

Pursuant to the registration of criminal case for the offence under Section 13(2) r/w (1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 in Crime No.9/2006, he was placed under suspension on 09.08.2006 and the same was revoked on 12.11.2009. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that after completion of enquiry, the enquiry officer has submitted his report on 12.03.2017 and copy of the same has also been furnished to the petitioner along with the second show cause notice, calling upon her to submit further representation and the petitioner has also submitted his further https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation, however, so far, no final order has been passed in the disciplinary proceedings, hence, the petitioner has come to this Court.

4.Mr.R.Karthikeyan, Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, sought four weeks to the respondent to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the first respondent is directed to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
