ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 379 of IPC and Section 21(5) of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 in Crime No.2122 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. This is a second anticipatory bail petition. The earlier anticipatory bail Petition filed in Crl.OP(MD)No.4910 of 2021 was dismissed as against this petitioner on 09.04.2021, on the ground that this petitioner has similar cases pending against him.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, would submit that the petitioner has five cases of similar nature in Crime Nos.1388 and 201 of 2020, 86 of 2018 and 296 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL OP(MD)No.11219 of 2021 of 2016 on the file of Usilampatti Taluk Police Station and Crime No.165 of 2020 on the file of the respondent Police.

4. There is no change of circumstance. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
