Seeking quashment of the proceedings in CC No.171 of 2011, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, the petitioner/accused 2 has approached this Court.
2. Today (28.08.2025), when this Criminal Original Petition is taken up for admission, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition with liberty to raise all the grounds raised in this petition before the trial Court. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 3.With such liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Since the crime is of the year 2007 and the case is also pending from the year 2011, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai shall endeavour to conclude the trial in CC No.171 of 2011 as expeditiously as possible.
