This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and initiate appropriate action 1/4

against the 3rd respondent by considering the petitioner's complaint dated 25.04.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. The petitioner's request to conduct enquiry and initiate appropriate action against the 3rd respondent has not been acted upon by the respondent police, which prompted the petitioner to file the present writ petition. 4.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the enquiry on the petitioner's representation will be completed by the second respondent, within a period of two months.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), without going into the merits of the case, this Court directed to the second respondent to conduct the enquiry on the representation given by the petitioner and depending upon the outcome of the enquiry, pass appropriate orders on its merits and in accordance with law, within a peirod of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
