RESPONDENTS/RESPONDENTS/ RESPONDENTS Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time limit granted in Crl.OP.(MD).No.15868 of 2019 dt.16.3.2022 pending on the file of this Honble Court. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.SENTHIL KUMARAIAH J, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.R.MEENAKSHI SUNDARAM, Additional Public Prosecutor on behalf of the 1st Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to extend the time limit granted in Crl.M.P(MD).No.9405 of 2019 in Crl.O.P(MD).No.15868 of 2019 dated 16.03.2022.

2. On 16.03.2022, this Court directed the petitioners to appear before the concerned Judicial Magistrate within 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order and file an undertaking affidavit that they will appear before the concerned Court as and when required, by affixing attested photo.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners 1 and 2 are old age persons and they are regularly taking treatment for diabetics and the third petitioner is working https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.8231 of 2022 as teacher in the Government School, due to which, they are unable to appear before the concerned Court as per the order of Crl.M.P (MD).No.9405 of 2019 in Crl.O.P(MD).No.15868 of 2019 dated 16.03.2022.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners made a mentioning that at the time of filing application seeking extension of time, an error occurred as if instead of mentioning the original petition number, miscellaneous petition number has been mentioned in the prayer of this petition. Hence, prays for necessary correction.

5. The error has been made only by the learned counsel for the petitioners on record. Hence, the Registry is directed carry out necessary correction.

6. In view of the submissions made above, time granted by this Court vide order dated 16.03.2022 in Crl.O.P(MD).No.15868 of 2019 is extended further for a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
