For Respondent : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :-For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.207 of 2022 on the file of the Respondent police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) I.P.C, in Crime No.207 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that there was trouble between the parties, over which, on 29.05.2022 at about 11PM, the accused persons abused, assaulted the defacto complainant with aruval, iron rod and also criminally threatened him. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner is having 15 previous cases, out of which, seven cases are pending. Most of the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

CRL OP(MD). No.11660 of 2022 cases are under assault and robbery. The petitioner is a habitual offender.

5.Considering the manner in which the occurrence took place and the bad antecedents of the petitioner, he is not entitled for any discretionary relief from this Court.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed.
