Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction the arrears of pension from the period November - 2010 to June - 2012 (ie., 20 months) payable to the petitioner's deceased husband and refund the amount a sum of Rs.5,67,861/- to the petitioner along with 12% interest per annum within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent submitted that arrears amount have already been settled to the petitioner and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this matter.

2.Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
