On the basis of the writ petitioner, the District Revenue Officer, Virudhunagar District, is suo motu impleaded as a respondent.

2. Mr.J.Gunaseelanmuthiah, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the District Revenue Officer/Second Respondent.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given a representation dated 13.04.2017, to the first respondent/ Tahsildar, Sivakasi seeking for a UDR correction, the same has not been considered till date. The representation of the petitioner is for rectification of the UDR records. The appropriate authority to carry out such rectifications is the District Revenue Officer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 4.Hence, the petitioner is granted liberty to approach the concerned District Revenue Officer with necessary representation,

seeking for the rectifications of UDR records and on such receipt of the same, the District Revenue Officer shall conduct an appropriate enquiry by giving due opportunity to the petitioner as well as any other persons who may be interested in the subject matter.
