This writ petition has been filed, seeking to direct the respondents herein to correct survey numbers in the proceedings of the first respondent in K.Dis No.48960/2011/TS.4 dated 10.11.2011 as S.No.536 instead of S.No.360 and as S.No.529/1, 3, 4 & 5 instead of S.No.527/1, 3, 4 & 5, in TN Pudukudi Village, Kadayanallur Taluk, Tirunelveli District in the light of the orders passed in WP (MD) No.5837 of 2017 on the file of this Court.

2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing on either side.

It is the case of the petitioner that despite the direction issued by this Court, vide order dated 02.06.2017 made in WP (MD) No.5837 of 2017, for correction of survey numbers in the proceedings of first respondent in K.Dis No.48960/2011/TS.4, dated 10.11.2011, so far, no action was taken by the respondents. Aggrieved over the same, instead of filing contempt petition, the petitioner has come before this Court with the above said prayer.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents fairly submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 23.03.2015, related to correction of survey numbers is under consideration as directed by this Court, vide order dated 02.06.2017 made in WP(MD) No.5837 of 2017 and appropriate orders will be passed on the same shortly.

In view of the above submission, this writ petition is disposed of by recording the submission of the Government Advocate and enabling the first respondent to pass appropriate orders with regard to correction of survey numbers in the proceedings in K.Dis No.48960/2011/TS.4, dated 10.11.2011, in the light of the orders passed by this Court, in WP (MD) No.5837 of 2017 dated 02.06.2017, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as other interested parties, if any, by extending the time by four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
